Having received his architecture degree in Pratt, Brooklyn New York and his Masters in Engineering from Columbia University, Felipe A. Cruz has pioneered the use of prefabrication construction technologies in the Philippines since the 1970's. He has led Filipinas (Prefab Bldg.) Systems to have an outstanding reputation to always complete projects ahead of scheduled deadlines. Since the formation of Filipinas (Prefab Bldg.) Systems, Felipe A. Cruz has been involved in major civil engineering projects, such as the EDSA flyover in Ortigas and famous vertical construction developments. Felipe A. Cruz is now concentrating his endeavors on making ABEC, a subsidiary of Filipinas (Prefab Bldg.) Systems, the first fully mechanized underground mining operation in the Philippines.
In 2007, Filsystems made a bold move by launching a subsidiary specifically dedicated to its coal mining operations, named A Blackstone Energy Corp (ABEC). This strategic decision has proven to be a resounding success, with ABEC now boasting an impressive portfolio of 4 contracts with 3 major sites of operation.
